Privacy policy

Last updated 6 November 2026. Imperagent is a trading name of Sequel AI Ltd, registered in England and Wales (No. 16897137), 128 City Road, London, EC1V 2NX, United Kingdom (“we”, “us”). For our customers' data we are the controller; for the prospect data our customers process with Imperagent, the customer is the controller and we are their processor.

What we collect

• Account data: your email address, organisation name and the settings you enter.
• Waitlist data: the details you submit on our website, used only to contact you about Imperagent.
• Customer content: product descriptions, prospect lists, email templates, sent emails and replies, processed on your instructions.
• Mailbox credentials: encrypted so that only our sending service can use them.

Signing in with Google

If you choose “Continue with Google”, Google shares your name, email address and profile picture with us. We use them only to create your account and sign you in. We don't request access to your Gmail, contacts, calendar or files through Google sign-in, we don't sell this data or use it for advertising, and we don't share it except with the processors listed below to run the service. Our use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Prospect data

Imperagent records where every prospect record came from and when. Customers are responsible for having a lawful basis for their outreach. Every email includes the sender's identity, a postal address and an unsubscribe link, and opt-outs are honoured across the whole organisation immediately. If you received an email sent with Imperagent and want to know what data is held about you, reply to that email or contact privacy@imperagent.com.

Legal bases

Contract (providing the service), legitimate interests (security, product improvement, B2B communications), and consent where required.

Sub-processors

Database and background processing on our own servers (Hetzner, Germany), web hosting (Vercel), AI processing (Anthropic), transactional email (Resend), sign-in (Google, if you use it), and the data providers used to find and verify business contact details. A current list is available on request.

Retention

Account data is kept while your account is active and deleted within 30 days of closure, except where we must keep records (e.g. invoices). Suppression entries (opt-outs) are kept so we can keep honouring them.

Your rights

You can request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability, and object to processing, by emailing privacy@imperagent.com. You can complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
